20 mil is a good strong durable product

My 600 sq ft metal building has a dirt floor and suffered from high humidity leading to mold and mildew. I placed the 20 mil with the silver side up, taped it to the metal frame and placed pins about every 18 inches. It looks great and has dramatically reduced humidity. An excellent product. I do suggest that when drilling the holes in the metal frame that instead of drilling 1/4” it was better to drill 7/32” holes. It made the plastic pins tighter.

The Silverback vapor barrier seems to be very durable and easy to work with. I did a lot of leveling of the gravel in my crawlspace which made everything relatively square. I can see how an irregular surface may lead to a more difficult installation.

Now I am one happy, satisfied customer because there is no more water running off ducting and I finally have a crawl space that is dry.
