Installing Foundation Pins™

Installing the Foundation Pins™ may seem difficult and aggravating or just unnecessary, but we assure you, it is absolutely necessary in order to see your hard work and/or your investment last for the many years to come that you may expect it to! Caulks, adhesives, or just any plain goopy glue will not hold your vapor barrier liner to the wall for very long without a mechanical fastener. If it could be done without any kind of permanent fasteners, then all of the professional installation crews out there would be doing it without any, but they are not.

The installation is as simple as drilling a small 1/4" hole through the crawl space liner at the Foundation Seal Tape™ and inserting the Foundation Pin™. This video allows you to view the process.
