Excellent product. The 20mil thickness does make the product more difficult to work with. In the end, it is totally worth the slight additional effort. Laying this vapor control barrier in our crawl space changed it from a dirty, nasty environment, to being close to a sealed clean room. Huge differance!

I had quotes from multiple big companies to "encapsulate" my 1945 dirt and damp basement with only 6ml plastic. A true encapsulation wouldn't work in my basement, and would only increase the risk of termites. I chose this product after researching various plastics and reading studies on different levels of VOC toxicity. My handyman did a great job cutting to fit and used tape and a few round crawlspace stakes to fasten to the dirt banks. Very happy with the result, I have a much higher quality vapor barrier for a fraction of what the larger companies were going to charge.
