We have been considering a crawl space encapsulation for some time. Wanted to make it a place where we could store stuff without concern of the stuff being ruined from mold/water damage. I read all sorts of things on line including some folks saying this is not a DIY project and you should hire a company (of course, it was a company making that recommendation). When COVID forced me to stay home for a week I decided to do the encapsulation on my own. Granted, I have Very limited knowledge on encapsulation. I called the customer service and they were very helpful, even giving me tips on how to make sure my install was up to code! They told me just what I needed and the products were literally delivered in 2 days. AND that is right in the heat of Christmas delivery madness. What a treat to get it so fast!



The 20mil is definitely high quality. It is very thick, so much so that it take a bit of “man handling” to move it how you want it. I read all their blogs and watched their videos and they told me everything I needed to know. Lots of tips which made things easier one a first-timer (I.e. cut the plastic OUTSIDE the crawl space, then bring it in!). Overall, I had an extremely positive experience with CrawlSpaceRepair. Customer service was over the top helpful, product arrived surprisingly fast, and quality is very high. I have a second crawl space I need to tackle and I will 100% get the same product. Could not be more pleased with this company.

The service was phenomenal - especially as it had to cross from the US of A into Canada! We received the complete order, via UPS, in two working days. We were surprised and very happy - considering the day and time ordered! The quality of the SilverBack vapor barrier is perfect. It was easy to cut and install and the 4" Waterproof Seam Tape is powerful - once down, it is not going to come off without a fight! I was able to do the complete job on my own, just working at it a few hours a day, finishing within six days. This has been one of the very best "buying and building" experiences. I installed this 20 mil SilverBack in a 24x26 crawl space. The results were great. You can't go wrong with this product. I expect it to last for many years. Buy it.
