I ordered this vapor barrier for a DIY crawl space project. As soon as we took it out of the plastic shipping wrapper, I knew that I had made the right decision for my project. It was easy to roll out and unfold to cover a large swath of space. It is very thick and durable, and the white color just added a sense of "clean" to my crawl space. I highly recommend this product!

I'm very happy with the 12 Mil SilverBack™ and how the project turned out. I've had plumbers and electricians crawling across after it was done and it has held up very good. All the bad smell coming from below is gone. Thanks for the help!

The products I ordered far surpassed the quality offered at the Big Box retailers and were cheaper. Some items weren't even offered, so I was happy to be able to get what I needed to encapsulate my crawlspace myself. Not having to hire someone saved me $1000+. Though it's taking me a bit longer and probably isn't as pretty (there are wrinkles here and there), so long as it functions as needed and I needn't worry about low quality materials, I'm ecstatic!! Definitely recommend this company and its' products to those wanted high-quality materials. This from a DIY-er layman.

I would have given it 5 stars for durability but 20 mil is still better for rough floors. The 13'4" width is perfect for dropping in between columns. Feels much thicker than other 12 mil products out there. The best thing about it is that it was delivered the next day!

 

I install encapsulations for a living and I have for 13 years. I have used almost every poly available and have had and tested samples of the others. CleanSpace used to be the best around the 20 mil class. Not anymore. SilverBack is #1 and all the pros know it.
