I just had my basement walls parged. The stucco is clean and dry but this tape would barely stick to it. It's a waste of money. Use the foundation pins and seal with the caulk instead.
We used the 2 sided foundation seam tape to install heavy 20mil vapor barrier over several days onto dry foundation walls. It was 4 days from our first wall panel installation until we did all the pins at the end. We had NO panels fall off the wall while finishing. TIP: Take a cheaper tape like duck tape and use it like a lint roller to remove dust and loose bits before applying the tape. It was super helpful once we thought to do it.
Good tape. Used with 15mil vapor barrier and it does the job. Typical tape, hard to start if you don't have good fingernails and sometimes it would split when I tried to start but in general a great product that really seals the seams.
The foundation blocks under my house my house are over 60 years old. Even after brushing them with the spacial brush these tape wouldn't stick. The caulk i ordered just in case did work but I will need to buy lots more.
Works incredibly well. I plan to tape up a friend for Halloween.
