Cons:
This felt laid down quick and flat. We used gorilla duct tape to spot tack the seams so while we were crawling around we didn't pull the felt around. I'm so glad we spent the extra to put felt in the crawl space. It made putting the vapor barrier in so much cleaner and easy. The crawl space had rough gravel and the felt helped give an extra barrier between the gravel and our vapor barrier.

Good for center block, but not good on red brick

Pros:
Cons:
This is some really strong tape. If it touches the vapor barrier, it is easier to leave it than to pull it off. The tape works really well on clean center blocks as long as you only attach it to the block and do not pull it off. However if you have red brick, the dust in the brick covers the tape and it looses its adhesiveness. To cut, use heavy duty scissors and a razor to peal the brown paper from the tape. I used the tape and polyurethane caulk. I strongly recommend this product.

Pros:
Cons:
We painted waterproof paint on the top blocks of our crawl space and the tape stuck just fine to it. It also stuck to the bare concrete block but if there is any dampness or dirt use the caulk. My only trouble with the tape is trying to get the paper off after you stick it to the wall. It holds the onto the plastic but you can do a little repositioning if needed. We used support strips in the corners and CrawlSpace Foundation Pins along the rest of the wall.

I used the foundation tape and it worked great! I swept the block with a broom and applied the tape. Then, I installed the pins. The job went smoothly with no issues.

Pros:
  • Strong material
Cons:
I used this material on the piers and walls. It wasn't easy to cut, which I was happy with because it showed the strength of the material. I had no issues with installing.
