Folks here seem easy to talk with. Unit was very very simple to put in and hook up. Works good so far . Time will tell results as long Gevity . seems keep my 2000 ft crawspace at 55% easy. Did lay vaper barrier first. Will have to work harder to keep at like 53% or lower. One note where I have the unit 4 inches off the ground on blocks and the unit it says 55% my reading at floor joist level is 47%. So I have it set at %58 humidity and always stay below %50 at floor level. Set at 58% the unit will run until reading od %55 so keep in mind.

I bought and installed my dehumidifier in November of 2017, but I waited a year to write a review because I wanted to have some experience with the unit before issuing an opinion. After one full year of use I must say that I am very pleased. My crawl space was exceptionally damp when I bought this house. I dug a drainage ditch and installed a sump pump, installed new vapor barrier plastic, and then installed the dehumidifier. I still have moisture under the vapor barrier clearly visible, but everything is nice and dry above. I now have no signs of mold on any of the floor joists such as I had before. I would highly recommend this product.

Well built heavy duty dehumidifier that is perfect for the crawl space of your house. Love the five year warranty and the fact it was Made in USA. Ventilation feature is a nice plus of this unit. Only had my Moisture Medic 70 for a week now, but so far it has met the expectations raised by the excellent reviews I read about it before I bought it. It is doing an outstanding job in my 2200 square foot crawl space. Easy to operate and set-up, love the way it shuts down when it reaches the proper rh. I cannot comment on the durability, but it appears well built. Based upon its performance after one week. I would definitely recommend it. Cannot beat the price either!!

I installed the unit with the option hanging mount. My crawl space was at 90% humidity. It removed 10 gallon the first day. I sealed the craw space vents and added duct to the input and output and the dehumidifier brought the humidity down to 60%. After one week it is down to 55%. So far I am pleased with the product.
