I ordered this with the dehumidifier as I have a very tight, damp, crawl space and wanted to insure that the unit was off the ground and also needed to get as much fall as possible for the drain to the condensate pump. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the fact that it came pre-assembled was a bonus as well. Just drilled 4 holes in the floor joist, mounted the dehumidifier, and leveled. Done. Cable clamps make leveling a snap. The foam on the mount ensures quiet operation and eliminates any vibration from the dehumidifier unit. Even standing directly above the unit in the house, there is no noise or vibration and I can't even tell it's running. This hanger made installation a breeze and I would highly recommend purchasing it with the dehumidifier unit. At first look it may seem a bit expensive, however, when you see the thought and quality that went into it's construction, it is a bargain.

Very satisfied. Product came in a timely manner, packed well, easily set up and performs as expected. It is being used in a encapsulated crawlspace. Dropped the level of humidity to 59% very quickly. The only thing that out performs the humidifier is the price. Great value!

I had called before purchasing and new that this is the Aprilaire 1820. The instruction were easy to understand and the unit is much quieter than expected. I have not had the unit long enough to properly review it as I don't think that 4 days of operation qualifies for durability or quality. I know that at start up, my crawl space was at 84% RH and on the 3rd day it had come down to 67% RH. For the price and the warranty, I can't say anything bad about this unit. GREAT VALUE!

I rated it all 5s simply because I have only had it installed for a week so i really can't say about durability or Quality but so far it seams to be doing a very good job holding my crawl space at 50 HR.
