I purchased the 7.75' wide by 86' long roll. I cut three equal length pieces outside, then folded the sections and transferred to the crawl space. You can just feel the quality of this material. I don't see it breaking down or ripping like regular poly sheeting. I joined the sections with 4" OSB Sheathing tape (which I had lying around) using about an 8" overlap. The tape stuck great and I'm thrilled with the final result. This was the final piece of a full crawl space encapsulation using 2" pink foam board on the walls and joist ends and bringing the vapor barrier up about a foot over the foam and taping there.

After much research, I finally took the plunge and ordered enough product to do a 1700 sq ft crawl space. When the pallet arrived, I was pleased at how well it was packaged for shipment. Lots of care to prevent damage during shipping. The quality of the 20 Mil vapor barrier far exceeded what I was expecting. Everything I ordered was top quality. I could not be more pleased with the outcome.

The product is supposed to be "high strength" but was damaged during the shipping process when wrapped in a protective layer. The damage was done to several layers of the Silverback Vapor barrier and I would not trust it under much stress or wear. Was told to patch it with the seam tape that I purchased for the job. If I were to do this again I would have purchased local. I thought I was getting a superior product and I have tarps that I have purchased that seem more durable than this.
