This product was well worth the money, I have used several double sided tape products and never found one nearly as excellent as this product. The strength of the adhesive is outstanding!

Sticks well to vapor barrier, concrete block and brick. You should have a roller to firmly press it down into the wall and also to press the vapor barrier onto it. I used the type of roller that is used to install sound deadening material in automobiles. It has a heavy metal wheel with ridges. (Amazon – $10.) I found it easier to drill the holes first, mark the spot where you drilled just above, then put down the tape and the vapor barrier. You can feel where the hole is and punch through with a pencil, then put in the Christmas tree. Which ever way you do it, you must brush the wall before applying the tape. Do not skip this step! Get that dust and cobwebs off there, give the tape a chance to stick. Peel the paper back a little at a time. Apply the vapor barrier carefully, don’t even think about peeling it off and re-positioning it.

Doesn’t stick very well to block wall, even though it was bone dry. Sticks amazingly to the vapor barrier though.

This foundation seal tape was outstanding. It sealed and held under tough conditions far better than I expected. I was most impressed with its thickness and it's holding power. I used a bit more than originally planned because I had several uneven surfaces to seal around. I used the tape to add thickness so the vapor barrier didn't have to be cut perfectly or stretched into small wall/support voids that needed to be sealed for my project.

I purchased this product because the encapsulation installer (AFS) I hired is planning to use "sealant" to attach liner to foundation walls/supports. While I don't think there is anything wrong with doing that (especially for wet crawlspaces), I think the tape will give the work a more professional look. To ensure they would do it the right way, I purchased a few roles of the tape and will ask the installer if they would use instead of their sealant. So while I have yet to use the product, the videos on crawlspacerepair.com show it as a quality product and easy to use.
