I usually don’t respond to reviews and stuff, but feel compelled to in this case. I was dealing with a damp crawl space for years and could not figure out what to do about it. It destroyed my floor by the rust from the nails staining through the linoleum. Our crawl space was full of sharp edged gravel. The 550 felt was the perfect answer as a barrier between the 12 mil vinyl and the gravel. Easy to install and seam. im

It became almost like a cushion between the gravel and my knees. I would strongly recommend the use of this felt with any of the vinyl encapsulation product it made all the difference in protecting the vinyl.

We used on the inside foundation wall and around crawl space doors to help with the damp soil.

Works incredibly well. I plan to tape up a friend for Halloween.
