This Moisture Medic is the perfect unit for our crawlspace projects. We seal and insulate crawlspaces, using closed cell spray foam, & 20 mil poly. We set these units under the house to manage the Relative Humidity... And they are perfect. So far, I've installed three of these. I use the Aprilaire 1850 for whole house set-ups, and this Moisture Medic appears to basically be the same unit, with less features that aren't needed.

I needed to get the humidity down in my crawlspace. I contacted crawlspacerepair and worked with them. Excellent service and technical help. I installed the unit, added the humidistat, fans and it's been working flawlessly for the last several years.

I purchased this unit a few months ago for my crawlspace. I waited to submit this review until after the more humid months have started. The unit has been keeping the humidity at the desired set point very steadily. I discovered, due to the size of my crawlspace, that setting the unit for 15 minutes per hour of air circulation helped even out the humidity level on both ends of the space. In addition, I like that I can access the control wiring to allow my external condensation pump's float switch to be wired in for emergency cutoff in case of pump failure. All in all, very pleased with the unit and the price.
