The Foundation Pins™ are used to permanently secure the vapor barrier™ to the foundation wall. These pins are inserted into a 1/4" hole drilled by a hammer drill. They are to be installed every two foot, two in each corner and anywhere is cut around obstructions. These pins come in packs of 100 pieces or 1000 pieces and are required for a lasting bond to the foundation wall. The heads of our pins will not break off nor will the pin come out of the hole as with other pins on the market.

**Remember to figure enough pins for 1 every 2' and 2 in each corner (one for each wall about 2" out of the corner). It is not necessary to install Foundation Pins in concrete supports (piers).

The pins worked exactly as described and made a tricky job much easier. The large heads made it easy to hit the mark, as well as being a large surface to better secure the vapor barrier. The quality and design was very good and the price was much less than a tapcon. This was my first crawl space experience (hopefully my last), but the products purchased were perfect and the tech support was professional, courteous, very helpful.

I was thinking about skipping these and securing the liner to the walls with a batten strip instead. I'm glad I bought them. They work great; you just need to drill a 1/4 hole and push them in.

Pins worked very well and held tight w a 1/4" bit. Tap them in slowly to get them seated and then a few good hits will set them nicely. Used most of the bag and all worked very well. The longer length if these is preferable to others out there. Recommended for DIY installs and pros. Must admit there was a certain amount of satisfaction driving these little things in place. I used twice as many as needed, and even more on a wall that nothing would stick to. Am really happy with the results.
